Safeguarding and Child Protection

All adults have the responsibility to keep children safe, to listen to their feelings and take them  seriously.

We believe that;

  • children and young people should never experience abuse of any kind.
  • children should be listened to and taken seriously.
  • in any incident the child’s welfare must always be paramount; this overrides all other considerations
  • a proper balance must be struck between protecting children and respecting the rights and needs of parents and families but where there is conflict the child’s interest must always come first.
  • we have a responsibility to promote the welfare of all children and young people to keep them safe and to practise in a way that protects them.
  • we all have a responsibility to ensure that children and young people are protected from harm, informed about potential risks to their welfare, and understand how to seek help.  and resources

We recognise that;

  • the welfare of children is paramount in all the work we do and in all the decisions we take.
  • working in partnership with children, young people, their parents, carers and other agencies is essential in promoting their welfare.
  • all children, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation have an equal right to protection from all types of harm or abuse.
  • some children are additionally vulnerable because of the impact of previous experiences, their level of dependency, communication needs or other issues and extra safeguards may be needed to keep those who are additionally vulnerable safe from abuse.

Confidentiality

 All information about the coach / client relationship will remain strictly confidential*. Our  record keeping is Data Protection and GDPR compliant, your records, information and confidential notes are stored securely.

* except where this is in breach of our Safeguarding and Child Protection policy and procedures.

If you wish for me as your coach to speak to someone outside our interactions, then you need to give me written permission to do so. 

Exceptions to confidentiality of course relate to circumstances such as intent to commit a crime or seriously harm yourself or someone else. Otherwise, all your information is confidential. 

Certain topics may be anonymously and hypothetically shared with other coaching professionals for training OR consultation purposes.

Payments, Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Payments

Payments for downloadable files, programmes, workshops and events are processed securely via third-party payment providers (including 

PayPal and Stripe).

Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is required at the time of purchase or booking in order to secure your place or access to the product or service.


Digital Files - Returns and Refunds

We hope you are happy with your digital files.

Due to the nature of digital products delivered by instant download, refunds are not generally offered once access has been provided. This is in line with UK consumer legislation relating to digital content.

If a file is faulty or corrupted, we will be happy to provide a replacement at no additional cost.


Programmes, Workshops and Events

Unless otherwise agreed, full payment is required to secure your booking.

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise and the following cancellation terms apply:


Cancellations by You

  • Cancellation requests must be received no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start time to be eligible for a refund.
  • Refunds will be issued minus any third-party or hosting fees incurred.
  • In-person events: if cancellation is received within 48 hours of the event, a refund will only be issued if the place is successfully refilled.


Cancellations or Rescheduling by Us

If a programme, workshop or event is rescheduled or cancelled by us, we will notify you by email as soon as reasonably possible.

We will endeavour to offer suitable alternative date(s). If this is not possible, or the programme cannot be delivered, you will be entitled to a 100% refund.


Programmes, Coaching and 1:1 Support

Unless otherwise agreed, all sessions and packages must be paid for in advance.

By purchasing coaching sessions or packages, you confirm your commitment to engage in the process and complete the agreed programme.


Cooling-Off Period - You may cancel your purchase within 14 days of purchase and request a refund. Approved refunds will be issued minus a 5% transaction fee.

Scheduling and Attendance

  • Once sessions have been scheduled, they are considered confirmed appointments.
  • You may request to reschedule a session by providing at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Sessions missed or cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be forfeited and are not refundable.


Incomplete Packages

If unexpected circumstances prevent you from completing all scheduled sessions, you may request a refund for the unused portion. Any approved refund will be issued minus a 5% transaction fee.

If a session needs to be rescheduled by us, we will notify you by email and arrange a suitable alternative date.


Schools, Organisations and Corporate Clients

Booking and Payment Terms

A deposit may be required at the time of booking.


Following delivery of services, an invoice will be issued and is payable by bank transfer, card or cheque within 30 days of the invoice issue date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.


We are registered on EANI I-Proc.


Late Payment

Please note that, as per our payment terms, overdue invoices may incur late payment charges.


Where payment is not made in accordance with agreed credit terms, we exercise our statutory right to claim:

  • Interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, and
  • Compensation for debt recovery costs,

in line with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts legislation. Charges may be applied from 30 days after the invoice issue date.


Cancellations

Please notify us of any cancellation at the earliest opportunity.

Where a deposit has been paid to secure a booking:

  • The deposit will be refunded (minus a 5% transaction fee) only if cancellation is received at least 14 clear working days before the scheduled service or event.
  • Deposits are non-refundable where cancellation is received outside this timeframe.


Cancellations or Rescheduling by Us

If a programme or event is rescheduled or cancelled by us, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.

We will seek to arrange alternative suitable date(s). If this is not possible, or the programme cannot be delivered, you will be entitled to a full refund.
